Loved our tour to the Gallipoli day trip! Highly recommend this tour. Lunch was also great at a local Turkish restaurant. This tour is a highlight!
Gallipoli day trip was amazing. well organised. The hotel pick up and drop was timely and with ease. I would def recommend if looking to get out of the city!
It was a nice full day tour of Gallipoli. We highly recommend this tour!
1-day guided tour of Gallipoli: very well organised with helpful, friendly and knowledgeable tour guides throughout. Highly recommended.
The arrangement of the transportation was excellent, and the included lunches were very tasty. Our tour guides were very polite. I would definitely recommend Gallipoli day trip to any of my friends!
I highly recommend the tour of Gallipoli. The Gallipolitour.com staff was extremely helpful, the tour was well organized and paced perfectly.
I had a great experience during this one-day Gallipoli tour. I would very much recommend this tour.
The one day Gallipoli tour was well organized and very informative. I would highly recommend this tour.
We were recently on a two day Gallipoli and Troy tour with overnight stay in Cannakale. It was organised by OneNation Travel with website www.gallipolitour.com. The tour was organised well and transportation was good. The pick-up and drop-off was on time. We recommend this tour.
We were picked up from our hotel at 6.45am by shuttle bus and transferred to a larger bus. There was one rest stop before the bus stopped at a seaside restaurant for a delicious 3 course lunch. We met our highly professional and entertaining Turkish tour guide who showed us around North Beach, Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery, Johnston’s Jolly, the Nek and Chunuk Bair. It was very scenic, extremely informative and moving, particularly as the majority of tourists were of Australian and NZ origin.A highlight was the unexpected short cruise to show a different perspective of the terrain from the sea. An unexpected bonus was the impromptu swim in the pristine waters from off the boat at Anzac Cove. It was a 5 hour journey back to Istanbul and we reached our hotel at midnight having napped most of the way. Some of our fellow tourists had opted to take the 2 day tour which stayed overnight and visited Troy the following day. Meeting them a few days later, they commented that the second day was disappointing and they wished they’d only taken the 1 day tour. Cameras, hats, sunglasses and good walking shoes are a must. Although it was a very long day with a lot of travelling involved, it was a good way to see and learn first-hand about a significant part of our (Aussie) history and culture in a short time.
Our day trip to Gallipoli from Istanbul was fantastic! I would highly recommend it to any traveler. The bus ride was comfortable and the tour was very good. We enjoyed our day immensely.
1) + answers to my email questions were prompt and reservations process easy, 2) + bus pick-up on time, 3) – waited 10 minutes at another hotel for late passengers, 3) – local driving habits (tail-gating, no use of turn signals, etc…), 4) – 35 minute rest stop on the highway too long… save time here and spend more time at the various Gallipilo sites , 5) +++ tour guide Bulent Korkmaz was excellent (b.t.w. it rained hard that day!) – passionate about what he was talking about! , 6) return to IST by bus was good.
Well recommended tour!
This was a most awesome experience. The pick up from the hotel, pick up at the other end and the whole day out was truly memorable and we loved every moment of it and felt it was an incredibly good value for the money.
We really enjoyed our tour of Troy and Gallipoli with Murat. He met us right on time. It was so easy to work with Murat and he answered every email almost immediately. I would highly recommend working with these fine people.
We did this day tour from Istanbul. Great tour! Our guide Ilhan did a great job and was very knowledgeable of the sites.
Hi there, Just wanted to say thank you so much for organising our tour – it was AMAZING! Thanks again 🙂 Sully
Our tour with gallipoli tours was a highlight of our travels in Turkey. Our guide, Hasan, was outstanding. He was engaging, passionate and extremely knowledgeable (from all perspectives). A most memorable and moving experience and highly recommended.
I cannot praise this tour highly enough. Our tour guide Hassan was exceptional with his knowledge and passion on this subject and made the whole day a terrific experience for our family. Although a long day trip from Istanbul it was worth ever minute and truly something we will never forget. Thank you Hassan for opening our eyes and hearts to this wonderful experience. This tour is a must for anyone interested on this subject. We had our 3 kids with us aged 20, 18 and 13 and they all enjoyed the trip.
We had a great two day tour in Gallipoli and Troy. Hasan (our tour guide) did a great job showing us around, explaining the history, and also tuning the tour to our kids energy levels.
This was a great tour that I would highly recommend to anyone considering visiting Gallipoli. Before booking I was concerned about the length of the tour, it is a long day with pick up from the hotel at 6.30am and not returning until well after 10pm, however I needn’t have worried as the drive did not seem as long as I expected. Our guide was very knowledgable about Gallipoli both from an ANZAC and a Turkish view and provided interesting commentary throughout the day. He also amended the tour slightly to include a battlefield where a relative of one of the tour group fought which really added a personal touch for her. We were lucky and had a small group of five but I imagine even with more people the experience would have been great.
