7 Days Cappadocia, Pamukkale & Antalya Tour from Istanbul

Day 1: Flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia and North Cappadocia Tour

You will be collected from your Istanbul hotel and transferred to the domestic airport for your flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir. On arrival, meet your guide and continue into Cappadocia to begin the North Cappadocia tour.

Visit Devrent Valley, known for its unusually shaped fairy chimneys, then continue to Pasabag Valley (Monks Valley) to see its distinctive mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Travel on to Avanos for lunch before visiting the cave dwellings and ancient churches of Zelve Open Air Museum.

The day finishes at Uchisar, where you can view its natural rock castles, before transfer to your Cappadocia hotel. This evening, you may choose to attend an optional traditional Turkish Night show with dinner.

Day 2: South Cappadocia Tour and Overnight Bus to Pamukkale

An optional early-morning hot-air balloon flight is available, offering views across Cappadocia’s valleys from above. After breakfast, meet your guide for a full-day South Cappadocia tour.

Start in Red Valley, then walk through Rose Valley (Gulludere Vadisi), following a route of approximately 5 km and passing rock-cut churches. Continue to Cavusin Village, known for its old houses and churches associated with Christian clergymen. Following lunch, visit Pigeon Valley (Guvercinlik Vadisi) and then explore either Kaymakli Underground City or Ozkonak Underground City, where early Christian communities once lived.

After the tour, transfer to the bus station for your overnight journey to Pamukkale by non-smoking, air-conditioned local coach. There will be three comfort breaks during the journey.

Day 3: Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour

On arrival at Pamukkale/Denizli bus station, you will be transferred to your hotel to freshen up, have breakfast and rest before the day’s sightseeing begins. Meet your licensed guide and first visit Karahayit to see its Red Spring Waters.

Continue to Hierapolis, where you will see the Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinious Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, Theater and Antique Pool. You will also have time to take photographs around Pamukkale and, if you wish, swim in the Antique Pool at your own expense.

Later, walk barefoot down the white terraces of the Pamukkale Travertines. Lunch is served at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to an Onyx Factory, before transfer to your hotel in Pamukkale.

Day 4: Bus from Denizli to Antalya

After breakfast, transfer to Denizli main bus station and board your intercity coach to Antalya. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 5: Perge, Aspendos, Side and Manavgat Waterfall Tour

After breakfast, depart from Antalya for Perge, one of the largest ancient cities of the Pamphylia region and originally settled by the Hittites around 1500 BC. Continue to the remarkably well-preserved Aspendos Ancient Theatre, built in the 2nd century AD and still used for festivals and concerts.

Lunch is served at a restaurant beside the river before travelling to Side, an ancient port city once associated with the region’s largest slave market. Explore the remains of its Roman period, including the large theatre, Roman Baths and Temple of Apollo. You will have free time to enjoy the sea and the town.

On the return journey to Antalya, stop at Manavgat Waterfall before being transferred back to your hotel.

Day 6: Free Day in Antalya

Today is free for you to spend at your own pace in Antalya. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and make your own plans for the day.

Day 7: Flight from Antalya to Istanbul

After breakfast, check out from your Antalya hotel and transfer to Antalya Airport for your flight to Istanbul. Tour services end on arrival at either Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport, according to flight availability.

Your onward transfer from Istanbul airport is not included.
