Day 1: Flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia and North Cappadocia Tour
An early hotel pick-up on Istanbul’s European side takes you to the domestic airport for your flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir. On arrival, continue to Cappadocia and meet your professional guide for the North Cappadocia tour.
Begin at Devrent Valley, known for its unusual fairy-chimney formations, then continue to Pasabag Valley (Monks Valley) to see its distinctive mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Travel on to Avanos for lunch before visiting the cave dwellings and ancient churches of the Zelve Open Air Museum. The day finishes with views of the natural castles of Uchisar; please note that the interiors are not open to visitors. Afterwards, transfer to your Cappadocia hotel for check-in. A traditional Turkish Night show with dinner is available as an optional extra.

Day 2: South Cappadocia Tour and Overnight Bus to Pamukkale
You may choose an optional early-morning hot-air balloon flight over Cappadocia’s valleys before breakfast. Later, meet your guide for a full-day South Cappadocia tour, starting in Red Valley. Explore the rock-cut churches and walk through Rose Valley (Gulludere Vadisi), covering approximately 5 km.
Continue to Cavusin Village, noted for its old houses and churches associated with Christian clergymen, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, visit Pigeon Valley (Guvercinlik Vadisi) and then explore either Kaymakli Underground City or Ozkonak Underground City, where early Christian communities once lived. Following the tour, make your way to the bus station for the overnight local coach to Pamukkale. The air-conditioned, non-smoking journey includes three comfort breaks.

Day 3: Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour with Transfer to Kusadasi
On arrival at Pamukkale/Denizli bus station, you will be taken to a 2-star hotel in Pamukkale to freshen up and have breakfast before joining the tour group. There is no hotel-room stay included. Your guided visit begins at Karahayit, where you can see the Red Spring Waters, before continuing to Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis.
Explore the principal remains of Hierapolis, including the Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinious Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, Theater and Cleopatra Antique Pools. You will have free time to take photographs and explore the white terraces; swimming in the antique pools is available at your own expense.
After meeting your guide again, walk barefoot through the mineral-rich terraces of the Pamukkale Travertines, also known as Cotton Castle. Lunch is served at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to an Onyx Factory. The day ends with a road transfer to your hotel in Kusadasi.

Day 4: Ephesus Tour and Flight from Izmir to Istanbul
After breakfast, set out with your guide for a full-day visit to Ephesus, the ancient Greek city that later became an important Roman centre. Walk through its ruins and see the Temple of Hadrian, Great Theater and Trajan Fountain.
After lunch, continue to the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be where Mary spent her final years. Pass by the remains of the Temple of Artemis, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, then visit Isa Bey Mosque. Your final stop is Sirince Village, an old Greek village where you will have free time to browse the traditional shops and sample local foods and wines independently. At the end of the tour, transfer to Izmir Airport for your return flight to Istanbul. The tour concludes on arrival; onward transfer from either Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen Airport is not included.

I joined the 4-day Cappadocia, Pamukkale and Ephesus tour with Gallipoli Tour and the booking process and the trip went very well. Can Berber is very responsive with questions and support. Communication g with him can be done via WhatsApp and is very easy. The trip usually starts at 9am in the morning and ends around 4pm. The local guides in each city are knowledgeable and gave good information. Particular kudos must be given the guide in Cappadocia Mr. Özay Aksungur. He is very knowledgeable about Cappadocia and is a funny guide, making the whole travel experience very memorable. I had an issue with my remaining payment to be made on my travel booking in Cappadocia and Mr. Aksungur went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue even though it’s not an issue caused by him. I am very happy with his service, hands down 5 star!
